The method outlined below will be used to calculate the grades of students who are in good standing in the course. This means they fulfill the requirements for regular attendance, the timely submission of assignments, and the avoidance of plagiarism. Students who are not in good standing will have their grades calculated at the discretion of the instructor. This can include: automatic failure of the course, the requirement of additional assignments, or a different weighting of assignments than the one given below.
